Over 100 million + street children struggle daily in the developing world, with a significant concentration in Asia. Our mission is to change this reality. By supporting well-run orphanages and children's homes, we provide safe havens where children receive the care and tools they need to transform their lives.
The children we've helped rescue faced extreme poverty, hunger, lack of shelter, disease and the constant threat of exploitation, including sex trafficking and forced labor. Many were orphaned or had been abandoned due to family disintegration, war, or natural disasters. Without intervention, these children have little hope for the future. They're denied access to education, healthcare, and the nurturing environment necessary for healthy development.
100% of designated donations go towards supporting and nurturing homes for children across five countries in Asia. From crowded cities of India to the hardened landscapes of Nepal, APCF is dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans and street children in need.
APCF's vision was born in 2005 when APCF Founders Don McAlvany and his wife Molly encountered an orphan’s home in the Philippines.
While these children were cared for, we saw millions of others in need of food, shelter, education and more importantly — love and nurturing.
