Founded in late 2005, the Asian Pacific Children’s Fund (APCF) is dedicated to providing orphaned and street children in Asia with safe homes, essential resources, and opportunities to thrive. Our journey began when Don and Molly McAlvany first visited their youngest son volunteering in an Indonesian orphanage. From there, it spread to India, the Phillipines, Nepal, and Myanmar, with 600+ children under our care. Through partnerships with well-run orphanages, APCF ensures that children receive the love, education, and support they need to break free from poverty and create self-sufficient futures.

Asian Pacific Childrens Fund’s mission is to find, evaluate, and “adopt” well run existing orphan and children homes in the developing world, especially Asia, increase their visibility, and help bring in funding from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, churches and any other group with a heart for these children.

We operate with transparency, and our administrative costs are fully covered by our founders, board members and general gifts with no designation, ensuring that 100% of your designated donations reach the children.
